Beermeer in Prisoner Of The Sun by KC 20031016

Not many people remember the dutch painter Beermeer, who had a bad case of Vermeer-envy

Beermeer painted the 'Dancer by a Window'

And they hauled it across town to the gallery by dogsled

They could have taken a car, but this is the 1600's we're talking about

(Nuff said!)

When the staff at the Chinese Consulate in Delft got wind that there was a new Beermeer painting, they burned their whole boat. A fat lot of good that does anyone!!

I hear the Cocteau Twins have a new album coming out, and this is the cover.

When the judge and jury got Lee Ming-Tah from the Chinese Consulate in front of the bench... they threw the book at er!

The consulate building itself was starting to show signs of wear and tear.

But Beermeer came along and whacked the foundation with a putter. Silly wabbit!

The consulate was in ruins and the property was bought by 3 bald-headed men. THE END
